Found in many structures built before 1980, asbestos is often discovered during renovation, remodeling or demolition.
Because certain varieties of asbestos do not burn, they were used for making fireproof materials, electrical insulation, roofing, etc.
Although a homeowner is not required to remove asbestos containing materials, the presence of asbestos may create a hazard if exposed. Removal may be necessary to eliminate this danger.
Commercial property owners are required to remove asbestos where it is exposed and/or poses a hazard.
Safe and complete asbestos removal requires knowledge and experience. Advanced Health & Safety has that knowledge and experience to safely remove any asbestos found in a building.
